What is National Career Development Week?

National Career Development Week (NCDW), now in its second year of running, is connecting more people to the skills they need to manage their career and life. In 2008, events across Australia throughout the year will lead up to a week of national celebrations from 2 to 8 June 2008.

Funded by the Federal Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR), NCDW is an initiative of the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA).

National Career Development Week aims to promote awareness of career development and to encourage all Australians to develop the skills to manage their careers, learning, work and lives in order to get the life they love.

Your association is a member of CICA, and we encourage you to:

• Host or organise an event - get ideas from the NCDW website www.ncdw.com.au
• Register YOUR event – on the NCDW website www.ncdw.com.au
• Support a local event
